About Todd Rundgren
Todd Rundgren moved from the Philadelphia band Nazz into a solo career that combined songwriting, performing and record production. Albums such as Something/Anything? and A Wizard, a True Star reflect the range of that work, while Hello It's Me and I Saw the Light brought accessible melodies to a wider audience. He also formed Utopia and produced records for other artists, including Patti Smith and XTC. Television music and multimedia experiments extended his interests beyond conventional album-making.
