ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Missing Persons

Missing Persons brought Dale Bozzio's singing together with musicians whose experience included Frank Zappa's bands: Terry Bozzio, Warren Cuccurullo and Patrick O'Hearn. Their sound connected that background with the compact songs and synthesizers of the American new wave scene. Spring Session M, their 1982 debut album, includes Words, Walking in L.A. and Destination Unknown. Those recordings anchor the group's early catalog, while later live performances and rerecordings represent separate versions.
