ARTIST BACKGROUND

About Rush

Rush began in Toronto in 1968. The group's best-known studio lineup paired Geddy Lee's bass, keyboards and singing with Alex Lifeson's guitar and Neil Peart's drums and lyrics. After extended works such as 2112, the band brought more compact songs into Permanent Waves and Moving Pictures. The Spirit of Radio, Tom Sawyer and Limelight connect that progressive-rock musicianship with the concise forms represented in these screenshot selections.
