About Bob Dylan
Bob Dylan's recordings connect acoustic folk, blues and electric rock with a highly individual approach to phrasing and narrative. His 1962 Columbia debut mixed traditional material with songs including Song to Woody; The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan followed with a stronger emphasis on his own writing. The 1965 albums expanded his studio sound, while later records continued to change the instrumental setting around his voice. Blood on the Tracks, Time Out of Mind and Rough and Rowdy Ways offer very different points of entry into that continuing catalog.
