About Crowded House
Crowded House formed in Melbourne around Neil Finn, Paul Hester and Nick Seymour. Their self-titled debut introduced Don't Dream It's Over and Something So Strong, establishing a sound grounded in melodic songwriting and vocal harmony. The original group's farewell included a performance at the Sydney Opera House. Finn and Seymour later returned to the name with Time on Earth, followed by further recordings including Dreamers Are Waiting. The band's history connects Australian beginnings with an international audience.
