About Faces
Faces formed after Steve Marriott left Small Faces, bringing Ronnie Lane, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones together with Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood. The group developed a loose, blues-oriented rock sound that also drew on R&B, country and folk. Its albums included A Nod Is as Good as a Wink... to a Blind Horse and Ooh La La. The partnership ended in the mid-1970s as members pursued different recording and performing commitments.
