After 7 built its R&B vocal repertoire around relationship songs and group harmonies. The self-titled debut introduced Can't Stop and Ready or Not, followed by Takin' My Time and Reflections. The group also recorded Nights Like This for The Five Heartbeats and contributed to the Beverly Hills, 90210 soundtrack. After a long interval between studio albums, Timeless arrived in 2016, followed by Unfinished Business in 2021, continuing the catalog beyond the early singles.
