About Dusty Springfield
Dusty Springfield was the London-born singer Mary O'Brien. Work with the Lana Sisters and the folk trio the Springfields preceded her solo career, which began with I Only Want to Be with You. Her repertoire drew on pop, soul and sophisticated songwriters, leading to Dusty in Memphis and later collaborations with Pet Shop Boys.
