Educational scope

This suite provides terminology lookup, word-part analysis, pronunciation support, learning activities, and self-assessment. It is an educational reference and does not provide diagnosis, treatment selection, coding advice, or institution-specific policy.

Licensing and acknowledgments

Portions of the terminology definitions are adapted from Open RN Medical Terminology 2e, edited by Kimberly Ernstmeyer and Elizabeth Christman and published by Chippewa Valley Technical College in 2024.

The source work is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license. The source edition is available through the NCBI Bookshelf.

GlobalRPh selected, condensed, clarified, normalized, reorganized, indexed, and supplemented the material. Additional changes include database structuring, category assignment, search metadata, word-part analyses, examples, quizzes, learning functions, and interface presentation. The original authors and publisher do not endorse this application.

GlobalRPh content and data handling

The application also includes independently developed GlobalRPh terminology organization, search behavior, word-analysis structure, educational examples, interface text, test logic, learning activities, and software.

Source and license metadata are retained in the protected master database and administrative documentation. They are not displayed on individual result cards or returned through the public API.
