For a fictional student publication, the shared folders, access procedures, and backup arrangements formed part of its working infrastructure. The editor valued stability because contributors needed a dependable place to find the current files throughout the term. A folder controlled by only one departing member left the publication vulnerable to losing access. The team reviewed who could maintain the arrangement and documented a handover, connecting the visible work of producing articles with the less visible systems that allowed the work to continue.

The publication's infrastructure included more than the articles themselves; it comprised the supporting arrangements on which writing and editing depended. Stability meant that those arrangements could remain steady when membership changed, rather than that every article had to use the same style. The single-person access arrangement was vulnerable because one predictable departure could disrupt the whole group. After another coordinator received appropriate access, the editors checked that their written handover matched the actual folders and responsibilities.
