The proposed campus storytelling festival was still embryonic when Ivo joined the planning group: it had a name and a few interested volunteers, but no schedule. Its genesis lay in an informal conversation about students who rarely had a chance to share their work aloud. Ivo wondered whether the event would ever materialize. He began by asking each volunteer to choose one small responsibility, giving the early idea enough structure for the group to see what could happen next.

At the next meeting, Ivo described the festival's genesis without suggesting that the first conversation had already settled its format. The project remained embryonic while the group explored audiences, spaces, and possible activities. For an actual event to materialize, someone would have to turn those possibilities into confirmed arrangements. When a room and three readers were finally scheduled, the volunteers could point to concrete progress while still acknowledging that much of the festival was only beginning to take shape.
