One ramification of choosing the smaller hall was the need to redesign the visitor route around fewer stalls. An unwelcome repercussion followed when a disappointed vendor withdrew from the later event as well. Some volunteers blamed Talia for every loss, but the accusation was unwarranted by the booking records they had reviewed. She had proposed a response to an existing problem. The group needed to assess that response fairly while also acknowledging the consequences that affected its participants.

Talia recorded each ramification of the change, including the revised layout, the new arrival times, and the additional messages vendors would need. The withdrawal was a repercussion they could not simply erase from the account because it was unpleasant. At the same time, criticism would be unwarranted if it assumed she had caused the original cancellation without supporting evidence. The review separated what had happened, which decisions had contributed to later effects, and what remained uncertain about the venue's failure.
