The exhibition gained cohesion when Selim arranged the objects around the purposes their writing served rather than around their materials. That configuration placed an engraved trophy near congratulatory cards and a carefully preserved letter of thanks. He could integrate the metal object into the story without disguising its difference from the paper pieces. Visitors would see several forms of acknowledgment together and then move to a second group about instructions, reminders, and records of ordinary transactions.

A trial walkthrough revealed that the configuration still separated two objects whose labels referred to each other. Selim moved them closer and revised the connecting text to strengthen the exhibition's cohesion. To integrate every item successfully, he needed both a clear theme and an arrangement that let visitors follow it without searching across the room. The final display retained its varied surfaces while giving each group of objects a shared question that made their differences worth examining.
