An enumeration of every tested recipe helped the cookbook team check which contributors had approved their final pages. The volume would encompass breakfasts, packed lunches, and evening meals, giving readers several ways to use the collection through a day. Extensive notes from household trials recorded unclear quantities, missing steps, and useful substitutions across the whole draft. The editor grouped those notes by recipe before assigning revisions, so repeated comments could be considered together rather than scattered through several notebooks.

The final enumeration also revealed that one approved recipe had been left out of the contents page. To encompass the full collection accurately, the editors added that entry and checked the page references again. Their extensive trial notes remained available when a contributor questioned why an instruction had changed. The group could trace the revision to readers who had encountered the same difficulty, then confirm that the new wording addressed the problem without adding a step the cook had never intended.
