Urine-output restrictions are not a CrCl calculator

The source uses qualitative renal exclusions and electrolyte precautions rather than a numerical renal adjustment table.

Before applying: Keep the restrictions and monitoring visible; do not convert qualitative terms into an invented cutoff.

Evidence for this qualification

Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits

The source contraindicates THAM in uremia and anuria. In renal disease or reduced urinary output, decreased elimination and hyperkalemia are concerns; use extreme caution, electrocardiographic monitoring and frequent serum potassium checks. Monitor glucose during and after therapy because prolonged hypoglycemia can follow excessive or rapid administration.

The source gives qualitative renal restrictions, not a validated CrCl-based adjustment table. Do not convert uremia, anuria or reduced urine output into an invented numerical cutoff or a dialysis dosing schedule.

Exact product and population matter. This added page contains locally stored, source-specific clinical summaries.
