Lofexidine - LUCEMYRA official label
- Product / population
- Lofexidine - LUCEMYRA official label; selected renal source sections only, not a complete prescribing monograph.
- Renal measure
- eGFR, mL/min/1.73 m2. Preserve the body-surface-area denominator.
Exact DailyMed result selected by product and packager. Newer label retains the table/warning tension; it is not independently adjudicated here.
Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits
The renal table gives two 0.18-mg tablets four times daily (1.44 mg/day) at eGFR 30-89.9 mL/min/1.73 m2, and one tablet four times daily (0.72 mg/day) below 30, including ESRD or dialysis. Timing need not follow dialysis. However, the same label warns to avoid use in chronic renal failure. Do not treat the table as automatic eligibility. Monitor vital signs, bradycardia and orthostasis; renal impairment also warrants ECG assessment. Taper rather than stop abruptly.
