Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits
The source warns that glycopyrronium elimination is markedly impaired in renal failure. Renal pharmacokinetics of the topical QBREXZA product itself have not been studied; the renal exposure discussion comes from an intravenous formulation and does not establish a topical renal dose. Watch for urinary retention and other anticholinergic effects. Stop use and seek clinical assessment for new difficulty urinating or bladder distension. Do not translate the IV pharmacokinetic findings into a numeric topical reduction.
