Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits
Renal dysfunction can occur with differentiation syndrome. Institute the source-directed corticosteroid and hemodynamic management when suspected. Interrupt treatment if severe renal dysfunction or the specified severe pulmonary manifestations persist more than 48 hours after corticosteroids. Resumption depends on improvement to grade 2 or less. This selected toxicity instruction is not a baseline renal-dose reduction or a complete differentiation-syndrome management protocol.
