Review first - source-specific qualification

Qualitative low-end dosing does not override severe-renal contraindication

The selected sources contraindicate severe renal disease/anuria but also advise low-end dosing in renal impairment. Dialyzability is described in overdose management.

Before applying: Do not invent a numerical severity boundary or a dialysis supplement. Specialist off-label aluminum regimens are not adjudicated here.

Evidence for this qualification

Selected-source qualification; independent clinician review pending.

Confirm the product, indication and renal measure. The selected summary is not a complete prescribing monograph.

Qualitative renal impairment; severe renal disease/anuria
Before using this finding

Do not invent a numerical renal threshold or dialysis supplement from qualitative restriction and removal information.

Selected exact-product labeling sections read. Original-source bytes and complete revision histories were not retained or reconciled; retrieval does not establish current product availability.

Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits

The manufacturer label contraindicates severe renal disease or anuria and advises low-end dose selection in renal impairment without providing a clearance ladder. Monitor renal function for creatinine elevation, acute renal failure and tubular disorders. Its overdose section describes ready dialyzability; that observation is not a labeled routine dialysis replacement regimen. The retrieved document prints a September 2022 revision. These selected restrictions do not establish present product availability or adjudicate specialist off-label aluminum treatment.

What the dialysis evidence actually supports

Removal information alone does not define a maintenance dose, supplemental dose or dialysis schedule. A reported regimen still requires its product, indication, renal measure and dialysis assumptions to match the patient.

Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits

The mirror contraindicates severe renal disease or anuria because drug and iron chelate are predominantly renally excreted. For renal impairment it advises selection at the low end of the dose range, without numerical CrCl bands. Increased creatinine, acute renal failure and tubular injury are reported; monitor renal function. Dialyzability appears in overdose management and does not provide a maintenance or post-dialysis replacement schedule. The qualitative low-dose instruction does not override the severe-disease contraindication.
