Cautions / source differences (1)
Review first - source-specific qualification

Unstudied renal PK must not appear as no adjustment needed

The official and mirror sections agree on an evidence gap, not on an established CKD regimen.

Before applying: Keep renal and dialysis uncertainty visible, with stone and hydration precautions.

Evidence for this qualification

Selected-source qualification; independent clinician review pending.

Confirm the product, indication and renal measure. The selected summary is not a complete prescribing monograph.

Display order is not a clinical ranking. Date of retrieval is not the label revision date. Sources are never merged into one regimen. Other sources and conflicts remain below.

Official source

EVOXAC - cevimeline hydrochloride capsules

Product / population
EVOXAC oral cevimeline capsules for dry-mouth symptoms in Sjogren syndrome; kidney-stone precautions and renal PK gaps are distinct.
Renal measure
Renal PK and dialyzability unestablished

Selected sections only; not a complete prescribing monograph or independent clinician approval.

Exact DailyMed HTML identity and named sections read. Raw SPL XML, original document hash and complete revision history were not obtained. Availability is not established by label retrieval.

Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits

The official capsule label likewise leaves renal-impairment pharmacokinetics uninvestigated and dialyzability unknown. It cautions about nephrolithiasis-related renal colic/reflux and dehydration with excessive sweating.

Agreement with the mirror is agreement in these selected limitations, not validation of a dose for CKD or dialysis. Do not classify absence of a renal dosing instruction as a no-adjustment finding.

What the dialysis evidence actually supports

Removal information alone does not define a maintenance dose, supplemental dose or dialysis schedule. A reported regimen still requires its product, indication, renal measure and dialysis assumptions to match the patient.

Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits

Renal-impairment effects on cevimeline pharmacokinetics have not been studied, and dialyzability is unknown. The selected source does not establish either a numeric renal adjustment or a no-adjustment recommendation.

Use cautiously with a history of nephrolithiasis because increased ureteral tone could precipitate renal colic or reflux. Monitor hydration when excessive sweating occurs; these precautions do not resolve the renal dosing evidence gap.
