A study dose is not this formulation's prescribing dose

The RX renal section cites a study using another abiraterone product.

Before applying: Do not import the other product's study dose as the YONSA regimen.

Also check: A study dose is not this formulation's prescribing dose

YONSA oral tablets only. Do not transfer dosing, food instructions or milligram equivalence from another abiraterone formulation.

Qualitative renal-impairment statement

Second independent renal reference and clinician adjudication remain pending; no all-indication, dialysis or pediatric dose may be inferred from an omitted field.

Renal impairment comment

The YONSA label does not require a dose modification for renal impairment. Use the YONSA-specific treatment regimen and accompanying therapy rather than substituting another abiraterone product regimen.

Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits

The source cites a small pharmacokinetic study in eight patients on stable hemodialysis using a single 1,000 mg dose of another abiraterone product. Exposure did not increase relative to matched controls. That study dose is not the YONSA prescribing dose and must not be substituted for the YONSA-specific regimen.
