Renal dosing, restrictions and evidence limits
No adjustment is needed when CrCl is at least 20 and dialysis is not required. In patients requiring dialysis, the source specifies an additional 200 mg immediate-release dose after each dialysis treatment. Metabolites may accumulate, with uncertain clinical significance. This supplement is separate from the correctly established antiretroviral regimen and its lead-in, hepatic and rash precautions. Do not assume an extended-release tablet supplies the same supplemental dose.
