Upgrade safely
Upload the new versioned library-parts directory completely before switching the application. Use a maintenance window or an atomic directory switch when replacing PHP/assets and the library index. A partially mixed release may return a controlled 503 instead of a clinical result.
Preserve cache/ and any shared _data/ counter store. No live counter data are packaged. New installs initialize at 499 so the first counted use displays 500. Do not delete old per-drug data until backed up and the replacement has passed this check. Older versioned chunks can be removed only after successful installation; this diagnostic does not remove them.
