Pediatric Patients (2 to 18 years of age): Dosage should be calculated
based on body weight (kg) and should not exceed adult dose.
Hepatic Impairment: Recommended adjustments for patients with mild,
moderate, or severe hepatic impairment.
LEXIVA Tablets may be taken with or without food.
LEXIVA Suspension: Adults should take without food; pediatric patients
should take with food.
The impact of renal impairment on amprenavir elimination in adult
patients has not been studied. The renal elimination of unchanged
amprenavir represents approximately 1% of the administered dose;
therefore, renal impairment is not expected to significantly impact the
elimination of amprenavir.
